Scripture Of The Day

The Word of God is food for the soul just as bread and water are food for the body. Without either one, we hunger to the point of weakness and ultimately death. Our daily sustenance keeps our bodies energized and able to function. Our daily meal of the Word builds our faith, strengthens our spirit, and motivates us to journey closer to our Creator. Without it, we become spiritually dry, insecure, and suffer feelings of emptiness. Jesus said, “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God.” (Luke 4:4) The scripture of the day is intended to feed you daily, valuable spiritual food! May you grow mightily in your spirit!

Romans

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”
